The legal claim will be run by Mishcon de Reya’s highly-experienced Policyholder Insurance Disputes team, led by Partner Sonia Campbell, who has instructed leading counsel, Philip Edey QC.

It will be funded by external third-party litigation funders. You will not have to pay anything.  If the case is successful the third party funder is paid by taking an agreed deduction from any recoveries at the end of the case.

FCA REVIEW OF BUSINESS INTERRUPTION CLAIMS

The judgment in the FCA test case is anticipated to be handed down in mid-September. Once the judgment has been reviewed, Mishcon de Reya will advise any group members in relation to any potential impact that it may have on their claims.
